DW's here! If you are clueless as to who I am, I suppose it would help if I explain. I'm DarkWings, DW, dugoochie, DUG, Ichigo(lately), Alee, and whatever else you want to call me (namewise). I'm a 13 year old girl. I'm into rollerblading (just going really fast, no tricks), anime (such a vauge word...), cartoons (mostly ones from 10 years ago), and other things I can't think of right now. My current obsession(s) is(are): L/SetoKaiba/Strawberries.

Music: computer buzz, aka, I'm not listening to music.

Augh. I don't know. I guess this may be hypocritical, but I've never considered myself to be an "uber-otaku" fan of anime or whatever they call themselves. (probably not "uber", being that that is german, not japanese, but you can find it on neopets so who knows.) But that kinda pisses me off, because... They're like "I'm mature. Durr... I'm ABOVE all those damn 'otakus' Heehee." It's not so much that they don't run around squealing, no, that fact helps my ear drums a little, I'm not asking them to be squealy-excited, I just wouldn't mind if they wouldn't be so elitist. (Plus they say if you're offended by such things it means you're one of the ones that was meant to be offended, am I really though?) They prance around with their pretty facts saying "look at me! I'm mature! I can spout all sorts of pretty facts!" Now stop the quote there, and I don't mind so much but continue it... "and I'm using these facts with my elitist mind to bash the little kids!" Argh. Man, that's not cool. I remember when I was younger, and scared as hell of the older kids because I knew what they did to the little kids who were fans. I'd like to remind you all that those little squealing fangirls, as embarrassing as they may be at times, KEEP THE ECONOMY IN LINE. Yes, as hard as it may be to imagine, if you shot them all dead, like I know you would like to, the ECONOMY WOULD DIE. Those pretty little girls go to market with the pretty money their parents gave them, and they buy their silly manga books, which makes it possible for the shelves to remain stocked, and in turn makes it possible for you "mature" kids to go buy them as well. I would also like to remind you that TRULY MATURE PEOPLE... do not bash little kids, who are entirely defenseless. and if you would like to say "but you're bashing the bashers, which makes you immature!" I'd like you to find where in this journal I called myself mature. I don't recall saying it once.
